Jobs at STAHL: Ramona Blumör Finds the Perfect Solution for Every Laundry

The second interview in our „Jobs at STAHL“ series features Ramona Blumör, who has been working in STAHL’s field sales team since April 2023. Every day, she supports and advises STAHL’s customers with great dedication and enthusiasm. During our conversation, she revealed that she is absolutely convinced of the products’ quality and tackles all questions related to hygiene with great enthusiasm.

What is your main responsibility at STAHL?

Every day, I make sure our customers get exactly the equipment they need. I advise and support companies that want to equip their laundries with our machines, and of course I also take care of our existing customers. It’s important to me to stay in touch with customers even after the purchase—we’re always here as their point of contact, and our service doesn’t end with the delivery of the equipment.

How did you end up at STAHL?

I began my career by completing an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory technician. Afterward, I worked for many years at a manufacturer of laundry detergents and surface cleaners, first in the laboratory and later in sales. During that time, I gained experience in various Trade Fairs I got to know STAHL and was impressed by their equipment and the values the company stands for. When my job eventually stopped being a good fit, the opportunity arose to join STAHL. I didn't have to think twice!

What do you enjoy most about your work at STAHL?

I love interacting with our customers. I really enjoy finding solutions—even for complex requirements—that tailored solution to find. Then I also turn to my colleagues for help—sometimes they’re technicians, and often the managing directors can offer advice based on their extensive experience. This collaboration—working with the customer to find the product that will make them happy—is something that gives me great satisfaction as well.

Is there a topic you're particularly good at?

Yes, I’m absolutely passionate about hygiene! Over the course of my career, I’ve completed a basic course in laundry technology, earned a certification as a specialist in cleaning and hygiene management, and serve as the laundry hygiene officer. Before I started at STAHL, I also completed my training as a disinfector—something I’d been interested in for a long time. With this certification, I’m authorized to conduct hygiene inspections in laundries, among other things. Hygiene is my absolute passion and has fascinated me for decades. I’m able to incorporate my knowledge when advising my clients, and they really appreciate it.

In your opinion, what makes STAHL successful?

The technicians at STAHL do a damn good job, and our customers really appreciate that. If there’s a problem, the technicians are there right away and find a solution. Of course, the machines’ solid construction and durability are also major pluses—I haven’t seen anything like it from any other manufacturer. What has personally impressed me from day one is that at STAHL, the whole family pitches in—everyone pulls together. For example, when an event is coming up, even one of the bosses will grab a vacuum cleaner; it’s just a given. Customers can feel this sense of unity and dedication, too—it’s truly one-of-a-kind.

What is your favorite STAHL product?

I love all STAHL machines… My dream would be for them to make these appliances in a „miniature size“ for home use—that is, in the standard sizes for households. Then I’d be the first to set up a STAHL washing machine, dryer, and ironing machine in my basement!
