A fantastic panoramic view of the Black Forest awaits guests at the Wellness-Hotel Waldblick on the 900-meter-high Kniebis. In addition to relaxation in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature, visitors can also enjoy the hotel’s cozy restaurant and savor regional cuisine. To ensure guests feel comfortable around the clock, the team at the family-run Hotel Waldblick is always on hand. Clean linens are, of course, part of the experience: In Freudenstadt, table linens, kitchen linens, work clothes, bed linens, and terry cloth towels are washed daily in the hotel’s in-house laundry facility. The Finkbeiner family’s personal laundry is also washed here. „My father already had machines from STAHL,“ says hotelier Paul Finkbeiner. For over 30 years, the hotel has relied on the quality and reliability of STAHL—and has never been disappointed. Over the years, the machines have been replaced with newer models, which, thanks to technical advancements, operate more efficiently than the older units. „We replaced the machines for the sake of efficiency; otherwise, they were still running perfectly,“ explains Paul Finkbeiner.
Whenever structural work was needed for the laundry facility, it was always coordinated with STAHL. Many years ago, when the first ironing machine was installed at the Hotel Waldblick, a window wall and doors had to be removed beforehand so that the machine could be delivered. Thanks to the excellent planning and support from the experts at STAHL, this was no problem.
The Finkbeiner and Stahl families have known each other for several generations now, and in their collaboration, they particularly value their personal rapport. At the Hotel Waldblick, they rely on STAHL’s foresight and vision when it comes to advice on laundry operations. Thanks to the hotel’s proximity, a technician can be on site within a day in case of an emergency, though this has rarely been necessary. The hotel’s in-house technician handles minor repairs, and if needed, a quick phone call to STAHL’s service department is all it takes to resolve a problem.
