For the SSV Reutlingen Soccer Club STAHL has become an indispensable and reliable partner—for 25 years now, the men’s first team’s entire sportswear has been washed and dried using professional equipment. The Oberliga team’s socks, jerseys, and tracksuits are processed here nearly every day. The team comes in for practice every other day, and of course, there’s plenty of laundry to handle on game days as well. Whether it’s game or practice gear, the equipment manager in Reutlingen has everything under control and relies daily on the high-performance machines, some of which are still part of the original equipment. Back then, as part of its promotion to the second division, the sports club was able to secure STAHL as a sponsor for the team. This collaboration based on partnership was revived at the end of 2024, and the SSV is pleased to once again have the support of STAHL Laundry Machinery.
For the players on the men’s first team, having their own laundry facility is a real bonus: „Our sports uniforms are always available and ready in the players“ lockers,” explains Andreas Will, Head of Partnerships and Sponsorship at the SSV Reutlingen. The club has a total of 13 teams, but only the first team has its own locker room with enough storage space for the athletes’ practice and game uniforms. Thanks to on-site cleaning, all the gear is available again in a short amount of time, and there are no bottlenecks—unlike in teams where each player is responsible for cleaning their own sportswear. In Reutlingen, the players enjoy the convenience of being able to focus fully on their athletic goals.
