Huber Textilservice, based in Bruckmühl near Munich, is a combined dry-cleaning and laundry business. Managing Director Martin Huber and his team wash all types of textiles at the company—from outerwear to curtains and flat linens to firefighter uniforms. For several years now, Martin Huber has relied on STAHL laundry machines for his laundry operations. „We started by purchasing a STAHL calender. After that, we added another STAHL machine every year,“ says Martin Huber. Today, the company’s machinery fleet includes three ATOLL 220 washing machines, one T 244 dryer, one T 236 dryer, and one MC 500/2100 trough mangle.
Previously, the company used machines from another manufacturer, but problems kept cropping up. New machines had to be purchased every two to three years. That changed when they switched to STAHL machines: „Although we now have three smaller washing machines in use, the workflow has become much faster. We work much more efficiently with the STAHL machines today,“ says Martin Huber. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has experienced a huge surge in orders. Time is a major factor here. „The STAHL machines can be programmed precisely. That’s not possible with other machines,“ says Martin Huber. The company has also been able to reduce its energy consumption thanks to the STAHL machines: With 12 hours of production per day, this makes a noticeable difference, especially in times of high energy costs. STAHL machines are equipped with innovative features that ensure energy-efficient operation—for example, the energy-saving STAHL Super-Mulde on the calender or the energy- and water-saving automatic load detection on the ATOLL.
Martin Huber is impressed by the absolute reliability of the machines and customer service, the excellent advice, and the simple and intuitive operation of the machines. STAHL machines are designed to allow for easy maintenance. „I’m extremely satisfied with my machinery. There isn’t really much that could be improved,“ says Martin Huber.
