The Ochsenwirt Inn in Oberaudorf offers its guests excellent „delicious local cuisine“ made with local and regional products. Whether in the rustic dining rooms with tiled stoves, the event hall for 150 people, or in the beer garden under chestnut trees—at the Ochsenwirt Inn, visitors can look forward not only to delicious food but also to a cozy atmosphere. Those who wish to stay longer in the health resort of Oberaudorf can choose from 48 rooms at the Gasthof Ochsenwirt, each with different amenities and all lovingly and comfortably furnished.
The family-run business launders towels, bed linens, table linens, comforters, pillows, and curtains in its in-house laundry facility—everything that accumulates day in and day out in a hotel or restaurant. About five years ago, after visiting a trade show, the Knöckl family decided to replace the washing machines and dryers in their home with STAHL appliances. Currently, they have one ATOLL and two dryers in Oberaudorf, and soon another old machine will be replaced with a STAHL washing machine. „We were immediately impressed by the design and quality of the machines. The expert on-site consultation was also professional and tailored to our needs—such good service isn’t a given these days,“ explains Mathias Alexander Knöckl, who runs the hotel together with his father.
Since switching to STAHL equipment, cleaning comforters and pillows is no longer a problem—something that wasn’t easily possible with the old machines, as these textiles become extremely heavy when washed and require very sturdy machines with sufficient capacity. Another advantage for the facility is the ease of operation: Upon delivery, the head of housekeeping was trained on how to use the machines and shares her knowledge with colleagues as needed, allowing operations to be managed flexibly.
