At the Hotel Galtenberg Resort ****S, there’s something for the whole family: fun, excitement, and relaxation for all ages, with lovingly decorated rooms and plenty of warm Tyrolean hospitality ensuring a carefree vacation. Couples can also enjoy themselves here and indulge in the „adults only“ 7-Heaven wellness area, featuring a sauna complex, cozy relaxation oases, and a lap pool—or take in the view of the Tyrolean Alps from the outdoor relaxation hot tub. With 400 beds, the hotel offers plenty of space for guests. This results in about 1,500 towels being used daily, which are cleaned in the hotel’s on-site laundry facility. Added to this are numerous bathrobes as well as table and kitchen linens. The laundry facility was renovated, expanded, and modernized in 2015 and has since been fully equipped with STAHL machinery.
STAHL’s first machine was installed in Alpbach back in 2010—a Kombifold terry cloth folding machine. At the time, the hotel had been desperately searching for a towel folding machine to eliminate the time-consuming task of folding towels by hand. STAHL was the only supplier to offer a professional solution. Shortly thereafter, the return-trough ironer for table linens was added. In the years that followed, the Hotel Galtenberg Resort ****S replaced all its existing washers and dryers with STAHL machines because they were so impressed by the quality. Since then, hotel manager Frank Kostner has been completely satisfied with the laundry equipment: „The quality is top-notch and the service is great. If there’s a problem, you can always reach someone. Though problems are very rare—the machines run reliably.“ Frank Kostner values the good rapport with STAHL and is particularly pleased when someone from the STAHL family spends a few days on vacation in Alpbach. „The very first thing they do is check the laundry room to see if everything’s in order with the equipment,“ he reveals, adding, „You only experience something like that at a family-run business like STAHL.“
