Pflege für Menschen GmbH is a nursing home in Neu-Ulm/Burlafingen. The facility provides long-term and short-term care to people in need of assistance—professionally and in a home-like atmosphere. More than 70 employees work at Pflege für Menschen GmbH in the areas of nursing, housekeeping, and administration.
Since 2009, the company has operated its own laundry facility, where work uniforms, linens, residents„ laundry, blankets, and pillows are washed. Previously, an outside laundry service handled the cleaning. “I haven’t regretted the decision to set up our own laundry facility for a single second—in terms of both quality and cost,„ says Managing Director Jürgen Lipp. Because it was important to company management that the machines for the in-house laundry be manufactured in Germany and that there be a single point of contact for all issues related to the machines, they chose STAHL laundry machines. “Today, I wouldn’t choose any other machines,” says Jürgen Lipp.
The nursing home’s laundry room is equipped with two DIVIMAT partition-type washing machines and two dryers, models T 236 and T 246. With STAHL’s machines, the nursing home can handle all its own laundry; the laundry comes out hygienically clean, and there is no loss of residents„ laundry. “When laundry goes missing at an outside laundry facility, it takes an enormous amount of effort to replace the clothing. With our in-house laundry facility, we no longer have these problems,” says Jürgen Lipp. This saves time, reduces costs, and increases resident satisfaction.
