The low-wear STAHL clothes dryer, with its optimized energy consumption and five capacity options ranging from 8 to 40 kg, is suitable for all types of textiles and industries.
The low-wear STAHL clothes dryer, with its optimized energy consumption and five capacity options ranging from 8 to 40 kg, is suitable for all types of textiles and industries.
A wear-free motor with no support rollers or V-belts, designed for maximum durability and efficiency.
Automatic load detection adjusts energy consumption based on the current load size.
Diagonal warm-air flow for fast, gentle, and even drying of all textiles.
Innovative heat recovery saves up to 30 % of energy by preheating the fresh air.
An intelligent process recycles approximately 50 % of exhaust air, helping to protect the environment and reduce operating costs.
Intuitive operation with a residual moisture sensor prevents over-drying and protects the fabrics.
A large-area screen located beneath the drum, accessible from the front and easy to clean.
180-degree opening with a stainless steel frame and magnetic closure for easy loading and unloading.
All STAHL clothes dryers, models T 232 through T 246, feature a unique, completely maintenance-free direct drive. It requires no wear parts such as drum support rollers, V-belts, or drive rollers. The wear-free motor ensures that the machine uses only as much energy as the current cycle requires. When the dryer is running with only a half load, energy consumption is automatically reduced.
The radial airflow ensures exceptionally fast, gentle, and thorough drying. Warm air flows diagonally—from top to bottom—through the fully perforated stainless steel drum. Temperatures remain consistent throughout. The drum reversal supports the radial airflow by alternately shifting the laundry, ensuring that even delicate fabrics dry evenly in no time. Unlike the longitudinal airflow principle, the radial airflow does not press the laundry forward against the drum wall.
The integrated plate heat exchanger ensures optimal energy efficiency. The recycled warm air first flows through a heat exchanger, which then uses the stored heat to preheat the cool, fresh air drawn in from outside. With this optional feature, the clothes dryer consumes significantly less energy. This revolutionary system, which offers significant savings potential, is available exclusively in STAHL dryers.
The standard recirculation system helps protect the environment and reduce operating costs. This intelligent process reuses and recycles about 50 percent of the exhaust air. During the drying process, only the water vapor is vented. The dry air, still warm, flows back into the drum via the heater.
The proven FREEpro microprocessor control system, which is identical across all STAHL laundry machines, is easy and intuitive to use. It features many common standard programs (e.g., Full Dry, Delicate Wash, Slightly Damp). All parameters can be individually programmed, and the current drying process is shown on the display. A sensor reliably detects residual moisture, thereby preventing the textiles from being overdried. This ensures the dryer runs only as long as necessary. This saves money and time and protects the laundry.
Thanks to the flexible design of the FREEpro control system, you can change various parameters at any time during the drying process. These include, among others, temperature, residual moisture, and drum speed. This allows you to remain flexible at all times, even while the process is running.
A large lint filter made of sturdy stainless steel is located beneath the drum and can be easily and conveniently cleaned from the front. The lint filter is screwed directly onto the housing, preventing lint from passing under the filter frame.
The ergonomic door, featuring a sturdy stainless steel frame, has a magnetic latch with a viewing window. The trim provides heat protection and also serves as a secure door handle. The door opens to the left at a wide angle of 180 degrees. Depending on the room layout, the hinge can also be installed on the other side upon request.
For over 110 years, professionals around the world have relied on the reliability of our laundry machines. Discover our industry solutions.
