Flatwork ironers are the compact and efficient specialists for a professional linen finish

The attractively designed MC 330 flatwork ironer is one of about 70 ironer model versions from STAHL.

STAHL flatwork ironers are available with the roll diameters of 21, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 120, 160 and 201 cm, and with working widths of up to 4 meters (depending on the model). The choice between four heating systems and the various specialised designs and extras that are available make it possible to create the optimal ironer solution for any need in any laundry.

In order to give the linen the best possible finish-quality, all flatwork ironers built by us are based on the construction principle of a heated-bed flatwork ironer. The linen travels between a heatable high gloss polished chest and a fitted rotating roll. The height of the chest has been increased resulting in a so called ironing path of 180°. It is very important that the high pressure is maintained on the entire path, and this is only possible with a heated-bed flatwork ironer.

All STAHL flatwork ironers are characterised by their excellent efficiency – their relationship between energy input to performance output. This is achieved by combining a number of construction measures. There are no energy wasting drive components as for example v-belts or chains. Furthermore, the split heating system and the fully insulated chests and metal hoods reduce energy loss to a great extend. The ironers efficiency is also guaranteed by the PTS drive, which ensures that the motor only uses as much energy as is absolutely necessary for the intended result.

POWER TWIN, POWER ROLL and POWER STAR are flatwork ironers with two or three rolls. The names already express that the great advantage of these machines is their high performance level, making them ideally suited for laundries with a high linen turnover.

The ultimate equipment for laundries and operations that have to process a high volume of linen is the BOULEVARD finishing line, developed by STAHL. It consists of the SERVANT feeder machine, a flatwork ironer with one or more rolls and the DOMESTIC folding machine.

Space saving flatwork ironers for one-person operation

We have developed these flatwork ironers to cater for today’s need to cut costs. The machines feature a linen feedback and do not have to be equipped with a folding table at the rear. They have a low depth and since the linen is fed and taken from the front of the machine, they can be installed at a wall, thus saving space.
The linen feedback also
makes it possible for the MR-models to be operated by just one person, resulting in attractive cost advantages.
The staff will also appreciate the ergonomic advantages of this feature, since it was designed in such a way that the linen can be taken off in a standing position.
