Industrial automatic dryers with a very robust design

STAHL drying tumblers are available with heating systems for steam, gas and electricity.

are available in five sizes and three heating systems.

 Our drying tumblers are available with the load capacities of 10, 14, 16, 25, 35, 50, 70 and 90 kg.

The compact steel construction and the stainless steel design of all parts that come into contact with the linen are the guaranteeing factors for a long service life of these machines. There also very few wearing parts, as the drum drive transmits power directly (without for example going over v-belts) to the drive pulleys.The air-stream is guided radially from high to low through the perforated drum, thus ensuring an even drying process for the entire linen load.


High-performance drying tumblers for large linen turnover

These large dryers are powered by four sturdy rollers, the most efficient and economical drive for drums of this size. All of these dryers are equipped with a drum reverse resulting in alternating rotation directions of the drum. All drying programs feature a cool down phase at the end of the drying process, which reduces the formation of unwanted creases. All STAHL dryers are fitted with a door contact switch which ensures a stopping of the drum rotation immediately on opening the door. In addition the machine features an air deficiency safety device which terminates the drying process as soon as resistance in the exhaust air becomes excessive.

The dryers are very easy to operate, either by setting the thermostat and timer or by means of the FREEpro microprocessor control. Cleaning the machines is easy, too: the lint filter has a large surface area and can be conveniently accessed by opening the wide access door at the lower front of the machine.

The crowning process of bedding care takes place in the drying tumbler

The STAHL drying tumblers are the ideal partner for the ATOLL washer-extractor to give damp down-filled quilts back their comfortable fluffy shape. The selected drum volume should be large enough to allow the bedding to fluff-up. Our machines are available with the volume capacities of 250 up to 1750 litres.

The radial ventilation system (across the entirely perforated drum) ensures a short drying time and achieves a high-volume and cosy-soft reconditioning of the quilts and pillows.
