The new STAHL super trough is an enhancement developed by STAHL and an absolutely unique selling point in the field of ironing technology. Only STAHL’s heater band technology which fully retains its shape offers you an actual 250 wrap angle under contact pressure. The use of this technology increases the area of ironing line under contact pressure by up to 20 %. What’s more, the STAHL super trough provides you with outstanding heat storage as well as even heat distribution. This offers you a high level of capacity utilisation together with optimal energy efficiency, all with first-class finish quality.
The STAHL flatwork ironers are designed so as to be perfectly user-friendly. The ironer’s return feed unit is designed so that your laundry can be conveniently removed in an standing position once it has passed through the ironer. This does away with laborious bending, as the laundry is dispensed onto the upper cover, and not into a laundry box lower down. STAHL consequently ensures that ironing is always an enjoyable experience for you and your staff.
The 3-phase current drive motor which can be electronically steplessly adjusted is located directly on the roller and controlled via frequency converters. It guarantees a maintenance-free and loss-free drive for your single-person ironer with a low-stress smooth start-up and rundown. In the case of the specially developed PTS drive the power electronics together with the intelligent FREEpro microprocessor control unit regulate the power used by the motors at any given moment. Thanks to the highly efficient drive technology your energy consumption is reduced to a minimum. No lubrication and no chains or V-belts means that you are guaranteed to have minimal maintenance outlays.
On the STAHL return feed ironers the roller is raised and lowered – not the heavy trough. This means that the trough is not raised and pressed against the roller, which results in a continual enormous use of energy, instead with the STAHL ironers the roller is lowered and clipped into the trough for ironing. This means that STAHL saves you energy and that your trough is easier to clean, since the roller is able to be completely removed from the trough.
In the case of the heater band ironers the laundry is fed in on non-slip feed bands which prevent the laundry from slipping and significantly reduce the amount of on-going correction needed during the feed-in process. This leads to an increase in the throughput of your laundry, as you can reach for the next item of laundry more quickly. The belt drive is self-tensioning, and the drive motor is incorporated into the electronic control unit system so it ensures synchronised operation at the selected ironer speed. There is no pulling at all of the laundry. This means that a round table cloth remains round, and a square one remains square.
The specially designed hollow roller shaft provides you with exhausting that is evenly distributed across the whole roller. The incorporation of a butterfly valve means that you can regulate the exhausting exactly as you wish.
